Documentary of Sultan Bahoo (r.a)

Classical documentary on Descendant of Sultan Bahoo (R.A) “Sultan ul Faqr” Hadrat Sultan Muhammad Asghar Ali (R.A).

Introduction of Personality

From August 14, 1947 To December 26, 2003.
9th descendant of Hadrat Sultan Bahoo (Allah Bless His Soul)

After the death of his spiritual mentor and father Hadrat Sultan Muhammad Abdul Aziz (Allah Bless His Soul) in 1981, Sultan Muhammad Asghar Ali (Allah Bless His Soul) took over the role of a Sufi Master and made the shrine of his spiritual mentor a model center of spirituality, for practically presenting the spiritual path to the rest of the world, and with it, all the blessings of marifat and faqr that he had acquired from his spiritual guide.

In 1987, he founded the Islahi Jamaat, or the Edifying Movement, in order to fulfill the obligation of the faqr of the Prophet (PBUH), of inviting people towards Allah. By late 1999, he had also established Aalmi Tanzeem ul Arifeen to promote the unity of the Muslim Umma. He often used to say that all the Holy Prophets including Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), and the Sufi Saints, spread Islam by traveling the land, and by strengthening contact with the people, to inspire them towards Allah.

Sufis and spiritual mentors of the perfect order also fulfilled the same duty. Owing to attachment with, and faith in the same ideology, it is paramount for all of us to break away from stagnation and decline and adopt a life of action and struggle.

Allah Almighty blessed Sultan Muhammad Asghar Ali (Allah Bless His Soul) with a dynamic personality. He was Sultan ul Faqr, Spiritual Master, inspirational leader and a visionary intellectual. He had sound aesthetics for architecture and a mastery of horse riding as well as Tazi dari (a very special and classical horse training technique). He enlightened his followers with the commentary of the Holy Quran and dimensions for the practical implementation of the Holy Sunnah.

He also guided the seekers of Allah towards the purification of the lower ego, the spiritual Heart, and towards a manifestation of the true soul through zikr of Ism-e-Allah zaat, Allah’s Greatest Divine name, and the secrets and mysteries of Sufism. Such was the force of his inspirational personality that whosoever met him, or engaged in a conversation with him even once, became an admirer, and remembered the interaction for the rest of his life.
